Perceptions of Migraine Education Series

For people living with migraine, their families and supporters, healthcare professionals, and the broader community.

The Perceptions of Migraine Education Series brings Migraine Australia’s 2026 research to life through practical, accessible education. Through webinars, lived experience, expert insights and supporting resources, the series aims to help people better understand migraine, feel more confident in healthcare conversations and know when and where to seek appropriate support.

Migraine: More Than a Headache

Migraine: More Than a Headache explores migraine as a complex neurological disease that can involve much more than head pain. In this recorded webinar, clinical expertise and lived experience come together to discuss symptoms, stigma, the invisible impact of migraine, barriers to care and the importance of informed treatment conversations.

Featured in this webinar
  • Dr Lysandra Katelaris, Director of Neurology Castle Hill and consultant neurologist

  • Melanie Benjamin, registered nurse and lived-experience contributor

  • Chloe Cifelli, Chairperson of Migraine Australia and webinar moderator
