Migraine Australia Support Groups

The Migraine Warrior Support Network is our network of support groups that meet online and in person around the country, providing peer support to the millions of Australians living with migraine. Most are on Facebook but we are working to expand into other spaces.

Our friendly and non-judgmental groups are the perfect places to ask for recommendations for migraine-friendly businesses, health professionals and the like. We also organise meet-ups and social activities to provide support and make new friends.

These groups are safe spaces, so we ask that only people who live with migraine or care for those with migraine join these groups. 

JOURNALISTS/RESEARCHERS/RECRUITERS: please do not join our groups to find subjects for news stories or research or clinical trials about migraine. We are very happy to find subjects for you: contact [email protected].

NATIONAL GROUPS

Migraine Australia Chat Group

This is a national general chat group for all things migraine, moderated by Migraine Australia, for anyone living with migraine and their carers. Connect and share with others who live with migraine, vent when you need to, and make friends with others who get it. You can chat about anything you like in this group, it doesn't have to be migraine specific all the time.

This is our national support group, and the best place to ask technical questions about accessing medications or treatments.

Men with Migraine Support Group 

This is a support group for men living with migraine, moderated by Migraine Australia. You don't have to be Australian to join. You do have to identify as male.

This is a support group for parents and carers of children living with migraine, moderated by Migraine Australia. As the options for kids is very different, so we ask that only parents and carers and in Australia join the group.

Started in mid 2024 and still getting established, this is a LinkedIn networking and support group for professionals and entrepreneurs living with migraine, moderated by Migraine Australia.
